Sweet and Crunchy! I used Cinnamon Apple Cream Cheese Spread from Recipezaar and altered it a little bit Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1 cup icing sugar (powdered sugar) |
2 -3 tablespoons frozen apple juice concentrate |
ground cinnamon |
granulated sugar |
wonton skins |
Directions:
1. Follow the directions for the Cinnamon Apple Cream Cheese Spread:. 2. In a medium bowl cream butter and cream cheese together, until just incorporated. 3. Add 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and beat till blended. 4. Add frozen apple juice concentrate and beat till smooth. 5. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes. 6. Turn on deep fryer to about 325°F. 7. Take wonton skin, place about 1 teaspoon of the spread in the middle of the wonton skin. 8. Wet outer edges of wonton skin. Fold together, press firmly. 9. Place in deep fryer until golden. 10. Remove from deep fryer, place on plate or baking pan. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on each side. Allow to cool before eating! |
