Cindy's Sugar Free Homemade Applesauce |

This is an old recipe I got from my mother years ago, but have changed to be sugar free. You can use sugar instead of Splenda if you choose. I use MacIntosh apples but any soft apple will do. Ingredients:
6 -8 apples, peeled and diced up |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup splenda sugar substitute |
cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Put diced apples into a saucepan. Add water. Simmer, covered until cooked down, mash up any chunks left. 2. Take off heat and add sugar or Splenda and cinnamon; mix. Serve warm or refrigerate. |
