i learned this from my grandma then just add a few things to make it my own Ingredients:
2 cups dried pinto beans |
2 cups dried red kidney beans |
1 medium onion, diced |
1 green bell pepper, diced |
diced tomato |
4 stalks celery, diced |
1 lb ground turkey |
1 (8 ounce) package mild chili powder |
2 tablespoons oregano |
Directions:
1. put pintos on to boil for about 3 hrs on medium or until tender than put kidney bean on to if you use dry if not wait until the pintos are in the last hour then put the can beans in diced 1 onion and bell pepper put them in 4 diced cerely stakles and boil gently 1 16 oz can of tomatoes or 3 chopped tomatoes 3 teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes 2 tablespoons of oregno brown 1 pound of ground turkey drained and put it in let simmer for 1 1/2 hour then severe. |
