An simple salsa recipe that is NOT for the faint of heart. Made with habanero peppers, this is a very hot salsa. Use less peppers to ease the heat. Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies |
1 medium onion, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons minced garlic |
6 -8 habanero peppers, deseeded and finely chopped |
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix well. 2. Let set several hours or overnight. 3. Serve with tortilla chips. |
