the root beer blends nice with the spice for just the right touch of sweetness. my guys loved it. Ingredients:
1# ground beef |
1 lrg onion-chopped |
1 green pepper-chopped |
2 cloves garlic-minced |
1 can 14-1/2 0z fire roasted diced tomatoes- undrained |
1 cup a&w root beer |
2 tbsp chilli powder |
2tbsp tomato paste |
2 tbsp minced chipolte peppers in adobo sauce |
1 tbsp ground cumin |
1beef bouillon cube |
1# box spaghetti |
Directions:
1. in a large saucepan,cook the beef,onion, green pepper and garlic over medium heat untill meat is no longer pink. 2. drain the grease 3. add the tomatoes, rootbeer, chilli powder, tomato paste,chipotle peppers, cumin and the bouillon, 4. bring to a boil 5. reduce heat ,cover and simmer for 20-30 min to allow flavors to blend 6. serve over spaghetti. 7. optional garnish green onions or grated cheese some used cheddar others used parmesan |
