Another tasty potato recipe. The recipe comes from our local home gardening newsletter. Ingredients:
8 -10 small red potatoes, quartered and unpeeled |
2 tablespoons butter |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
salt and pepper |
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (packed) |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan cook potatoes in water until tender. 2. Drain and keep warm. 3. Meanwhile, in another saucepan melt butter; add garlic, stirring for 2-3 minutes. 4. Add potatoes, chili powder, cilantro, salt and pepper. 5. Lightly brown and serve warm. |
