Ingredients:

1 bay leaf |
4 carrots, sliced |
4 stalk(s) celery with leaves, chopped |
2 cup(s) cider |
6 medium potatoes, quartered |
2 onions, chopped |
1 pound(s) stew meat |
1 cup(s) water |
1/2 teaspoon(s) white pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown meat. Pour cider & mix with meat drippings. 2. Layer in dutch oven: vegetables & meat. Add liquids & spices. 3. Cover & cook on low 1-1/2 hrs. |
