3 tbsp. all-purpose flour |

749 g boneless pork loin chops (10067), 1/2-inch thick, cooked per recipe, yield from 2.2 pounds fresh |
1 1/2 tbsp. canola oil |
3/4 cup sliced onions |
3 tsp. minced garlic |
3/8 tsp. dried thyme |
1 1/2 cups apple cider (88009) or unsweetened apple juice |
Directions:
1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Add pork chops and toss to coat. 2. In a large skillet, brown chops in oil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Remove and keep warm. 3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion, garlic and thyme for 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Return pork to the pan. Add cider. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 7 to 8 minutes or until meat juices run clear. |
