Ingredients:
1 loaf(s) ciabatta, cut into 3/4-inch-thick slices |
2 tablespoon(s) extra-virgin olive oil |
1 large garlic clove, smashed and peeled |
1/4 teaspoon(s) coarse sea salt |
freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Brush ciabatta slices on one side with olive oil and rub with the garlic clove. Sprinkle each slice lightly with salt and a little black pepper. Place slices oil-side up on a baking sheet and bake until golden and just crisped, 10 to 15 minutes. Yield: 4 to 6 appetizers. |
