One of my favourite recipes because it tastes so great and can be pulled together in minutes. Steamed rice is a good accompaniment for the yummy sauce. Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken, cut into pieces |
1 cup orange juice |
3/4 cup fruit chutney |
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 teaspoon ground allspice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 360 degrees F. 2. Arrange the chicken in a baking dish large enough to hold all the pieces and season. 3. Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken. 4. Bake, uncovered for 1 hour, or until very tender. |
