I saw several recipes for these already, but this one is a little different, it has the addition of vanilla and powdered sugar. Recipe from a church cookbook, of course. Cook time includes chill time. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
12 ounces pkg. chocolate chips |
1 lb pkg. colored small marshmallow |
1 cup nuts, chopped |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a large pan over low heat. Cool. 2. Add marshmallows, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. 3. Shape into loaves and chill 1 hour. 4. Then sift powdered sugar over loaves and cut into slices of desired thickness. |
