This wonderful, no-fail recipe was found in an old Iowa church cookbook. This recipe was used for the church luncheons. I hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
1 -2 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup |
1/2 cup ketchup |
2 tablespoons mustard |
2 -3 tablespoons brown sugar (to taste) |
1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste) |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste) |
1 teaspoon garlic powder (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Brown the ground beef; drain off fat. 2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. 3. Serve on your desired hamburger bun with your favorite condiments and enjoy! 4. This goes really well with Best-Ever Baked Beans and Sausage! |
