Tasty and warn on a cold winters day! Ingredients:
2t. real butter |
2t. onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, chopped |
4t. flour |
2t. sugar |
1t. salt |
1/2 t. pepper |
1can (14.5oz) italian diced tomatoes |
11/2 c. tomato juice |
2c. milk |
Directions:
1. Saute onion and garlic in butter. 2. Blend flour, sugar, salt and pepper in butter mixture. 3. Remove from heat and stir in tomato juice. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. 4. Stir hot tomato mixture slowly into cold milk. Heat almost to a boil and serve. |
