Chunky Toblerone Shortbread |

We always get a big Toblerone for Christmas, and I like to use some of it to make these cookies. Decadent! Ingredients:
2 cups butter, softened |
1 cup fine sugar |
3 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cornstarch |
2 100 g bars toblerone chocolate, chopped |
3 tbsp sifted icing sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on high speed until light and fluffy. 3. Combine flour and cornstarch. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chocolate. 4. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 1 apart. 5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Remove to wire racks and cool completely. |
