My kids LOVE to make these on their own and there are never any leftovers. These are great with syrup or without! Ingredients:
1 c. flour |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1/4 tsp. salt |
3/4 c. milk |
3 tbsp. melted butter or margarine |
2 eggs |
1 tbsp. white sugar |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
1 large banana, diced |
1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/4 c. chopped pecans (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Set bowl aside. 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla. 3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and stir in the wet ingredients, being careful not to over mix the batter. 4. Gently fold in the banana, chocolate chips, and nuts. 5. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Pour 1/4-cupfuls of batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip with a spatula and cook until browned on the other side. |
