I came up with this when my grocery store was sold out of my lazy guacamole mix. Ingredients:
3 avocados |
lime, juice of |
1/2 cup red onion, diced |
1 medium tomato, seeded and diced |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
2 tablespoons green chilies, chopped |
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped |
1/2 tablespoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon red hot sauce |
1 teaspoon fine sea salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Clean the flesh out of the avacados and chunk and put lime juice over chopped avocado. 2. Mash with a potato masher. 3. Add the rest of ingredients to avocado mixture. 4. Continue mashing with the potato masher but keep it chunky. 5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour for the spices to merge. |
