A sweet tomato salsa without all the added sodium and sugar of store bought salsa
Ingredients:
16 large tomatoes
2 large red onions
1 large green pepper
1 large sweet pepper
2 banana peppers
4 jalapeno peppers
1 cup vinegar
1/4 cup dried cilantro
4 tablespoons garlic
1 tablespoon cumin
Directions:
1. Dice tomatoes, onions, green, sweet, and banana peppers and add to a large stock pot.
2. Add vinegar, cumin, crushed garlic, and cilantro
3. Simmer on low heat with lid on until desired consistency
4. dice jalapeno peppers
5. add jalapenos to salsa and cook to desired hotness. The longer the salsa is simmered the milder it will get.
