Chunky Chewy Choc-Chip Cookies |

The title says it all. Ingredients:
185 g butter |
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/2 cup caster sugar |
1 1/2 cups self raising flour |
1/2 cup plain flour |
1 cup macadamias, toasted and coarsely chopped |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
1 egg yolk, lightly beaten |
2 teaspoons vanilla essence |
200 g dark chocolate, chopped |
Directions:
1. Melt butter and cool. Meanwhile combine sugars, sifted flours and macadamias in a large bowl. 2. Add combined butter, egg, egg yolk and essence; mix to a soft dough. Stir in chocolate. 3. Place level scoops of biscuit dough about 6cm apart on lightly greased oven trays. 4. Bake in moderate oven 180 degrees for about 18 minutes or until browned lightly. Cool on trays. |
