I like the chunkiness of this Ingredients:
assorted raw vegetables |
firm french bread cubes |
tortilla chips |
3 tbsp butter or margarine |
1 med onion, chopped |
1 small can (8 oz) stewed tomatoes |
1 can ( 4oz) green chiles |
1/4 tsp dried oregano |
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Prepare vegetables and bread; set aside. 2. Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and cook until lightly browned. stir in tomatoes, chiles, and oregano. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, for 5 minutes. 3. Add cheese, a handful at a time, stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is well blended. 4. Transfer to fondue pot and keep warm. 5. Use assorted vegetables as dippers. |
