Chunky Apple Cinnamon Syrup |

This makes a great waffle or pancake topping and is especially great on French toast and even ice cream, use it with whatever you want! Ingredients:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1/3 cup water |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
3 medium apples, peeled and sliced |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, bring brown sugar, water, butter, cornstarch and cinnamon to a boil; boil until thick (about 2 minutes). 2. Stir in apples; cook until tender (about 10-12 minutes). 3. Serve wherever syrup, or a sweet topping is wanted. |
