Chuck's Brined Pork Roast |

Brined pork roast turns out so tender. The only way to eat a pork roast. Ingredients:
3 -4 lbs pork loin roast |
2/3 cup salt |
1/3 cup sugar |
2 bay leaves |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 cup wine |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon smoked paprika |
Directions:
1. Place everything except roast in a sauce pan with 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. 2. Simmer for 5 minutes, remove from heat and add ice to cool. 3. Once cooled, place Roast and mix in a large pot, add cold water to cover roast, cover pot and place in fridge for 24 to 48 hours. 4. Remove roast, pat dry and cook roast in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 2 hours or until done. |
