This sauce is very tasty and lemony and goes with the Christmas Carrot Pudding recipe I received from a good friend of mine Christmas 2007. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
3 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 cup water |
1/4 cup butter |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Mix both sugars and cornstarch in saucepan. 2. Add water and stir. 3. Add butter and lemon juice. 4. Heat and stir until it boils and thickens. |
