Got this recipe from a book or magazine one Christmas. It was so good I had to keep making batches of it because it kept disappearing :) Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup corn syrup |
1 (12 7/8 ounce) box rice chex |
1 (7 ounce) bag red-hot candies |
Directions:
1. Combine over med-low heat, the butter, sugar and corn syrup until sugar is dissolved. 2. Pour over cereal and red hot candies and toss to cover. 3. Bake on cookie sheet at 250 for 1 hours; stirring every 15 minutes. 4. Pour on wax paper to cool. |
