This recipe came from the Newfoundland Herald. It really adds a nice flavour to meatballs . Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
2 cups breadcrumbs |
1 chopped onion |
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes |
1 dash salt and pepper |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
398 ml cranberry sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 1/2 cups chili sauce |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt and pepper into meatballs. 2. Mix sauce, vinegar, cranberry sauce, brown sugar, chili sauce and lemon juice in a bowl and pour over meatballs and cook at 350 for 1 hour. |
