I have been making these fruit rolls for about 30 years. Everyone always wants me to make them. They are so delicious. My Mom started out making these. And I took the recipe away from her. (LOL). If I dont bring them to people in my Church they think I am mad at them. But they are expensive to make. I usually double the recipe. But let me tell you they are worth it. Ingredients:
1 quart pecans (chopped) |
1 (16 ounce) bag vanilla wafers (crushed) |
1 (16 ounce) box raisins |
16 ounces cherries (drain juice) |
1 (16 ounce) bag coconut |
32 ounces sweetened condensed milk (not fat free) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl, make sure the wafers are crushed real fine. And the cherries cut in half then quartered. Form into balls. Place in fridge overnite. Great tasting. Something to make for the upcoming Christmas Holidays. Its according to what size you make the balls as to how many you will have. |
