These are great to send to school with the kids for their Christmas party. They are different and have a great flavor the children & Teachers will love. The children will also have a lot of fun helping to make them, which will give them a heart full of pride when they take them to school. :) Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup pumpkin |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 cups flour |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. 2. Stir in pumpkin, egg and vanilla. 3. In a separate bowl, combine salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and flour. 4. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture, stirring until well incorporated. 5. Bake at 375 degrees on a greased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes (this will be cake like, not crispy). 6. Let it cool, then frost. |
