Excellent choice for a holiday breakfast. Use the bread of your choice. We prefer thick slices of French bread or Texas toast bread. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups eggnog |
1 cup milk |
4 eggs, beaten |
cinnamon |
nutmeg |
butter |
Directions:
1. Whisk together egg nog, milk and eggs. 2. Dip bread in egg mixture, sprinkle bread with cinnamon and nutmeg. 3. Grill on hot, buttered griddle, until golden brown on each side. 4. Top with fresh fruit or pie filling and sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with butter and maple syrup. |
