This is one salad that always disappears quickly. Ingredients:
1 bag of romain hearts |
1 head of broccoli |
1/2 head of califlower |
2 tomato's |
1/3 red onion |
7-8 slices of cooked & crumbled bacon |
1/2 c. sunflower seeds |
2 t. flax seed meal |
1 c. mayo |
1/3 c. vinegar |
1/2 c. sugar |
Directions:
1. Empty bag of romain hearts into bowl; Cut up broccoli,cauliflower, tomato's & red onion into bite size peices and put all into bowl. 2. Cook bacon, let cool and crumble. In separate small bowl, add; mayo, vinegar, & sugar..(taste to see if you need to add more sugar or vinegar) add flax seed meal (optional) and sunflower seeds, mix well; pour over salad and toss. Just before serving; add bacon. |
