                    Recipe from a Holiday Pleasers booklet. Sounds good any time of the year as I keep frozen cranberries in my freezer to use year round. I buy them when they go on sale after the holidays and stock up. They freeze beautifully. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 (16 ounce) bag fresh cranberries  |  
                                                3 cups apples, diced  |  
                                                1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice  |  
                                                3/4 cup sugar  |  
                                                1 1/3 cups oatmeal  |  
                                                1 cup walnuts, chopped  |  
                                                1/3 cup brown sugar  |  
                                                1/2 cup butter, melted  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Blend cranberries, apples, lemon juice and sugar together in a bowl. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Combine oatmeal, walnuts, brown sugar and butter. Evenly spread oatmeal mixture over cranberry mixture. Bake uncovered 45-60 minutes. If top starts to get too dark, cover with foil.
