1 c. butter |
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar |
2 c. sifted flour |
1 c. finely chopped almonds |
1 tsp. almond extract |
3 dozen drained maraschino cherries |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Add remaining ingredients except maraschino cherries. Flatten 1 1/2 teaspoons dough in your hand. Center maraschino cherry and wrap dough. Seal and form into a ball. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. While still hot, roll in fine granulated sugar3
