Everybody loves this recipe - even the picky eaters in the crowd ask for seconds. The cook loves it the most though, because it takes 2 minutes to throw everything into the slow cooker & then you're out the door.
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 can fat-free cream of chicken soup
1 package italian dressing mix
1 package cream cheese
1 t margarine
Directions:
1. Dump it all in the crock pot
2. Cook cook cook it until it's thick & creamy - all day is good.
3. High 3 to 4 hours, or low 6 to 8 hours
4. Note: the cream cheese will be easier to mix in after it has cooked a few minutes - don't sweat it if you can't mix it at first.
5. Serve with whole wheat pasta of your choice and crusty bread.
