Delicious summer salad. Perfect balance of sweet and savory. If dressing separates, shake again before using. Ingredients:
2/3 cup white sugar |
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
2 tablespoons sesame seeds |
1 tablespoon poppy seeds |
1 1/2 teaspoons minced shallots |
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 (10 ounce) bag baby spinach leaves |
10 strawberries, sliced |
1/3 cup toasted pecans |
1/2 (4 ounce) log goat cheese, crumbled |
Directions:
1. Place sugar, balsamic vinegar, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, shallots, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika in a container with a tight-fitting lid; shake until mixed well. Add oil and shake to mix. Refrigerate for flavors to blend, 1 hour. 2. Combine spinach, strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese in a bowl. Add dressing; toss to coat. |
