Ingredients:
1 head green cabbage |
1 dozen green tomatoes |
1 or 2 red peppers |
1 or 2 green peppers |
4 cups sugar |
1 quart red cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
3 tablespoons allspice |
Directions:
1. Using a food processor to grind cabbage, tomatoes and peppers together. Mix sugar, vinegar and spices in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Add cabbage mixture and bring to a boil again. Cook about 3 to 5 minutes. Pour into pint jars and seal. Good with peas and greens. |
