When I couldn't figure out what to do with a roll of bulk chorizo sausage, this recipe was born. It may sound similar to other dip recipes, but don't let that fool you...the flavor of this dip definately sets it apart from the rest. Read more . Enjoy! Ingredients:
1- 10oz. roll bulk pork chorizo sausage, cooked and drained well |
1- 10oz. can rotel, drained |
1- 8oz. block cream cheese, cubed |
1- 8oz. block processed cheese (such as velveeta®), cubed |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients into a 1.5 or 2 quart slow cooker. 2. Stir a little to mix (don't worry if you can't mix it well, as it melts it'll combine better). 3. Cook on low approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until all is melted and completely combined. 4. Serve warm with your favorite tortilla chips. 5. NOTE: This also reheats well. |
