This is a family favorite, quick, nourishing and never any leftovers. I have also used Cr. of Celery soup with good results. Let it come to bubbling in the oven for the best flavors.! Ingredients:
1 (7 ounce) can tuna |
1 (10 ounce) can mandarin oranges (use good brand) |
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup diced celery |
1/2 cup chop't onion |
1/2 cup salted toasted cashews |
3 ounces chow mein noodles (dry crunchy type) |
Directions:
1. Drain Tuna. 2. Break into bite size pieces. 3. Drain mandarins and reserve 1/4 cup to combine with the soup. 4. Add tuna, celery, onions,,mandarins, cashews and 1/2 the noodles. 5. Put into greased 5 cup casserole. 6. Sprinkle remaining noodles over top. 7. Bake 375F for 20 minutes until heated through. 8. Garnish with mandarins if desired. |
