When you want a change from tossed green salad, try this easy alternative. From the American Diabetes Association. canned artichoke hearts, button mushrooms, tomato seeded and chopped, green onion, fresh parsley, dried basil, dried oregano, feta cheese cvt Ingredients:
7 oz (1/2 can) artichoke hearts (111518), drained and chopped |
4 oz button mushrooms |
1 tomato, seeded and chopped |
1/4 cups green onion, finely chopped |
1/4 cups snipped fresh parsley |
1/2 tbsp dried basil |
3/4 tsp dried oregano |
1/2 oz feta cheese, crumbled |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, toss together all the ingredients except the feta. Add the feta and toss gently. |
