Chocolaty Caramel Pecan Bars |

This recipe is to die for!!! especially if you love turtle candy like I do. Give me pecan, caramel & chocolate and I'm in heaven Easy and yummy!! Ingredients:

1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1/2 cup butter softened |
1 tbsp whipping cream |
1 cup flour |
filling |
24 caramels, unwrapped |
1/3 cup whipping cream |
2 cups pecan halves |
topping |
1 tsp butter |
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips |
2 tbsp whipping cram |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 2. Grease 9 square pan 3. In medium Bowl, mix powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and 1 tbsp whipping cream until well blended. 4. Add flour; mix until crumbly 5. With floured hands, press mixture evenly in prepared pan 6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until firm to the touch 7. FILLING: 8. meanwhile, in medium saucepan, place caramels and 1/3 cup whipping cream 9. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth 10. Remove from heat 11. Add pecans; stir well to coa 12. Immediately spoon over baked base; spread carefully to cover 13. TOPPING: 14. In small saucepan over low heat, melt 1 tsp butter & chocolate chips, stirrlng constantly 15. Stir in 2 tbsp whipping cream 16. Drizzle cover filling 17. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until filling is FIRM 18. Cut into bars |
