Chocolate Won Tons With Raspberry Sauce |

this is a great, simple desert for the non-baker like me. Ingredients:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
16 wonton wrappers |
1 cup raspberries, fresh |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 water, plus a bowl for sealing won tons |
oil, for frying |
1/2 cup powdered sugar, for garnish |
Directions:
1. Fill each won ton wrapper with a few chocolate chips. Fold and seal like a won ton, sealing with wet fingers. 2. Make the raspberry sauce, by blending the raspberries and sugar with a few teaspoons of water. Strain out seeds and place in a squirt bottle. 3. Fry won tons in 375 degree oil for a few minutes until golden brown. Drain excess oil. 4. Serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and raspberry sauce. |
