This is a chocolate cookie baked on a waffle iron. It's a recipe my Grandma sent in for a family cookbook. Grandma said Children love them. in the cookbook. I'm guessing how many cookies as Grandma didn't list it. Time is estimated on how long it takes to bake the whole batch. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
4 large eggs |
10 tablespoons cocoa |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Heat the waffle iron. 2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. 3. Bake on waffle iron a few seconds until firm. Use a spoonful of dough for each cookie. 4. Refrigerate dough if it sticks to iron. 5. Frost with powdered sugar, cocoa and a little milk and vanilla. (This is how Grandma had it on her recipe it's been so long since I've made these I don't remember the amounts I used. I'll post them when I've made it again). |
