CHOCOLATE TOFEE CAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Quinn Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake |
8 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed |
2 toffee candy bars chopped |
1 chocolate candy bar shaved |
Directions:
1. Prepare cake according to package directions then cool completely. 2. Frost cake with whipped topping then scatter toffee over top and sprinkle shavings on top. 3. Refrigerate several hours before serving. |
