Chocolate Tea Bread

A nice treat to have with afternoon tea or with a fruity dessert
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup raisins
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
1. Cream butter.
2. Add sugar gradually, creaming well.
3. Add egg and beat well.
4. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa, and cinnamon into the creamed mixture alternatively with the buttermilk, beating until blended after each addition.
5. Stir in raisins, walnuts and chocolate chips.
6. Turn into a buttered loaf pan.
7. Bake 350F 1 hour.
8. Let cool on rack.
