I made this at Christmas time, but it is much like hot chocolate, only richer, so can be enjoyed any time of year. Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk |
2 cups milk |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract |
whipped cream |
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, combine Eagle Brand, milk and cocoa. Heat through, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla or peppermint extract. Serve warm in mugs topped with whipped cream. Store leftovers in the fridge. |
