Chocolate Stuffed Roasted Strawberries |

Got this from Rachel Ray -her recipes called for bittersweet chocolate, we liked it better with semi-seet, and with milk chocolate. Great dessert for a romantic dinner. But I am also thinking about serving this at Christmas if I can find some strawberries! Read more ! Ingredients:
12 extra large strawberries |
1-2 ounces tiny chocolate morsels, semi-sweet or milk chocolate |
1 t sugar (optional) |
spray whipped topping (the real kind, in a can, dairy section) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Slice the tops off of the strawberries, just below the stems 3. Cut the tips off, so that the strawberries will stand up 4. Using a small spoon or melon baller, hollow out the strawberries 5. Stuff chocolate morsels in the strawberries, stand in baking dish 6. Lightly sprinkle with sugar 7. Roast until chocolate is melted, about 10-12 minutes 8. Top wtih whipped cream |
