Chocolate Streusal Cream Cheese Bars |

This is from Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. I make these every Christmas, but they are yummy any time! Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour |
1 1/2 cups icing sugar |
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa |
1 cup cold butter |
1 pkg cream cheese, softened |
1 can regular or low fat eagle brand |
1 egg |
2 tspvanilla extract |
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, chopped |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, sugar and cocoa; cut in butter until crumbly (mixture will be dry). 2. Reserving 2 cups crumb mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom of 13x9-inch parchment paper-lined baking pan. 3. Bake in preheated 350°F oven 15 minutes. 4. Meanwhile beat cream cheese until fluffy. 5. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand until smooth. 6. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. 7. Pour evenly over baked crust. 8. Sprinkle raspberries over cream cheese mixture, if using. 9. Combine reserved crumb mixture with nuts if desired; sprinkle evenly over top. 10. Bake 25 minutes or until bubbly. 11. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator. |
