This is a recipe from Pillsbury. I got tired of only using my cookie press for regular butter spritz and thought I would try something new. I really liked these and would make them again. These freeze well so they are great for making ahead for the holidays. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup butter, softened |
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 egg |
2 cups flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. 2. In large bowl, combine sugar and butter, beat until light and fluffy. Add the chocolate, vanilla and egg. blend well. 3. Stir in flour and baking powder. Mix well. 4. Put dough in cookie press and press onto ungreased cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 4-7 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. |
