Grew up eating these and still love them Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 cup evaporated milk |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3 cups rolled oats |
1/4 cup coconut |
4 tablespoons cocoa |
Directions:
1. Boil together milk, butter and sugar until sugar is dissolved - stirring constantly. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. 4. Roll by the tablespoon or slightly larger, into balls. 5. Roll balls in coconut. 6. Chill for several hours. |
