This is an old recipe from Ready-Crust and it so good. It's like French Silk Pie. Very creamy. Ingredients:
1 pre-made pecan sandies pie crust or reg. graham cracker crust |
1/2 c. butter or margarine,softened |
1 c. powered sugar |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
2 squares (1 oz.each )of unsweetened chocolate,melted |
2 eggs |
3 c. prepared whipped topping(cool whip) |
Directions:
1. Cream butter or margarine sugar and vanilla until smooth. 2. Blend in melted chocolate. 3. With electric mixer,beat eggs into chocolate mixture, one at a time.Beat 2 or 3 mins. for each egg. Beating on high. 4. Fold 2 c. whipped topping mixture into chocolate mixture. 5. Spoon into crust, top with remaining whipped topping. 6. Chill for 3 hours. 7. If desired, garnish with chocolate curls. |
