Directions:
1. Step 1 for cake: 2. Mix together: 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar 3. Set aside and put: 2 sticks margarine, 1 cup water, and 4 tablespoons of cocoa in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture. 4. Add: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 tsp. salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. 5. Pour into greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake 400 degrees for 15 minutes. 6. Frosting: 7. Boil and remove from heat: 1 stick margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 6 tablespoons milk. 8. Add: 1 box powdered sugar, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, and 1 tsp. vanilla. |
