chocolate sponge pudding with a chocolate sauce Ingredients:
6 ounces flour |
8 ounces sugar |
2 ounces butter |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk |
5 ounces cocoa |
4 ounces brown sugar |
Directions:
1. beat first five ingredients together until smooth and thick
2. add two thirds of the cocoa and continue beating
3. place in a greased casserole dish
4. mix remaining cocoa with brown sugar and sprinkle over top of cake mixture
5. pour over one and a half cups of water
6. bake in a moderate oven until cooked
