This is a old favorite of kids from Rice Krispies... They are gone FAST. Ingredients:
1cup sugar |
1cup light corn syrup |
1 cup peanut butter |
6 cups rice krispies |
1 small bag chocolate chips |
1 small bag butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar and corn syrup in a 3 quart saucepan. 2. Cook over moderate heat until it bubbles, stirring. 3. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter, mix well. 4. Add Rice Krispies stir until well coated. 5. Press mixture into a 13 x9 pan. 6. Melt chocolate and butterscotch in top of a double boiler or micro until hot and smooth. Remove and spread evenly over Rice Krispies mixture. 7. Cool until firm, cut into 2x1 inch bars. 8. Enjoy |
